Time to Fly Card

My niece graduated from high school this year. What came to mind was “Time to Fly” and this is the card.

Feather detail.

Along with the flying theme, of course I had to get out all my feathers! First I stamped some feathers on the card stock of the card, just enough to see through the velum layer. Then I die cut feathers in two colors of gold.

Time to fly card elements, feather, printed velum and stamped card.

I planned on writing out the sentiment but I wanted a guide to follow. I printed the words in a banner and then traced over it with some markers.

On the inside of the card I embossed some metallic paper for the background. It only ripped the paper a little!

Gold embossed paper.

A great chance to use some star brads!

A frame helped pull this card together and offset the feathers!

Congratulations to all the graduates this year!
