It’s the Holidays! I love fall and I have this weird habit of collecting acorns. I just love them! I put them in jars to display and I have even added glitter to them. This year for my Thanksgiving cards I decided to feature, acorns!

As my mom has been sewing away this year, I went for a sewing themed card. So many options for cardmaking!

Ok, so I meant to post the book I finished binding, but Mother’s Day is coming up! So here is the card I made for my mom this year. She got a lovely bouquet of flowers!

I have joined the ranks of the stay-at-home folks so I’m finally getting this card posted that I meant to do earlier in the month. But now a cheery birthday card seems like just the thing!


For my dad’s birthday I wanted to make him a western themed card, and what is more western than cowboys! I had some pictures of the desert that I had taken so I started there.

This year for my sister’s birthday card I thought use a theme I hadn’t used in awhile, roosters! I also had an idea to incorporate metal into the card, I hadn’t utilized that for a long time, so now I’m on a patina-ed metal kick!
For Father’s day this year I first wanted to do a western themed card; something my Dad would like, but as I was designing it I wanted something a bit more personal so I ended up making a military themed card.
