For Father’s day this year I first wanted to do a western themed card; something my Dad would like, but as I was designing it I wanted something a bit more personal so I ended up making a military themed card.

It’s that time of year and I needed to make a confirmation card! I wanted to emphasize the spring and I found this lovely image of cherry blossoms.
When I was thinking of making this birthday card I ran across this card idea from Impress Cards and Crafts with a small terrarium on it. With cactus and terrariums being trendy right now I thought I would go for it!
It was a very busy holiday season for me, even almost busier after the holidays were over! I did have a couple of birthday cards to make that I had to make on the fly.
So the people in my life that are into Harry Potter just keeps growing. My friend’s child is at that tender age where he is starting to read the books so I now can make more Harry Potter themed cards!
For my Father’s birthday I decided to make a tool chest card. I had purchased a cool extra deep embossing folder of metal plates and I couldn’t wait to use it!
For the New Year I am finally getting around to posting this year’s Christmas card!

When my sister’s birthday came around I decided I needed to change up my card making a little. I’ve been using a lot of metallic and grungy things in my cards and I wanted to mix things up! So I dug back into my picture stock and found this old sewing pattern image. I used to use these 1950’s vintage images a lot so it was fun to bring it back.

This image that I got from The Graphics Fairy was so lovingly drawn but so clinical, that they looked like they should be in a display case. So that’s what I made my card’s look like!

This cat album all started when my sister wanted Dumpling Cats for her birthday. Being a good sister I crocheted her a whole set of them. I gave myself a generous amount of time to make them and they were so cute I ended taking them all sorts of places to show friends. I then started taking pictures of the cats having their adventures and put them in a cute little album/card to give to my sister with the cats!
