Bats and Spiderweb Card
The holiday season is upon us! I have been doing a lot of bookbinding lately but I had to set it aside and start making some cards for Halloween! Using some free paper and my typewriter, I went to work.

[This card is still one of my favorite Halloween cards so it deserves a repost! Originally posted October 20, 2021]
This is the card that I have been wanting to make for years and this year I decided to just make it! A Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde spinner card, what better for Halloween!

[Here is a fun little card I made a couple of years ago! Originally posted 10/27/2019]
This year I almost didn’t make Halloween cards, I had no idea and not a lot of time to make them. Then I came across the metallic paper and decided to make it happen!

Spooky Windmill Card
My Halloween card for 2020! It all started with a windmill…and the windmill made me think of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. And this is the card I made!

Mad Scientist Card
This card was actually made several years ago for Halloween and I was able to snap some pics of it because my awesome friends save my cards! Loosely based on Frankenstein, it is a mad scientist’s cabinet…

I finally caved and got a cutting machine. I was familiar with the Cricut cutters for many years but found them to be too limiting. One summer I did a bunch of research and decided to get the Silhouette Portrait. I have been very happy with it and began making cards with it right away! This was a Halloween pop-up card that I made with one of my favorite vintage images.

Bat Card
Bats are such good themes for Halloween! They work for a Dracula card and just about any Halloween theme, a bat is not out of place. This image that I got from The Graphics Fairy was so lovingly drawn but so clinical, that they looked like they should be in a display case. So that’s what I made my card’s look like!

Poe Halloween Card
This is last year’s Halloween card. I love using literary references for Halloween and that year I went with a Edgar Allen Poe theme and came up with this Tell-Tale Heart card.
