What better than hearts and flowers for a Valentine’s Day card! This year’s card has lots of both, with just a little bling!
This card started with the border die cut of swirls and hearts. I wanted them to be highly contrasted so I cut them out on shimmery white gold card stock and backed them with some floral paper. I liked the pattern on the paper, but I wanted it to be more purple so I sprayed it down with some thinned purple ink.
For the curved pink paper I scanned the hearts die cut and used my Silhouette Portrait to cut them out. Then I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with the card except for making the little oval “love” brass charms. I used a couple different letter stamps to mix it up. My breakthrough came with digging out some fabric tape that I have squirreled away and I loved the way it looked.
The punched flowers and a crystal center finished the front of the card!
I just couldn’t stop sticking hearts all over the card!
This card was fun to make, I like it when I get to use lots of my supplies and tools that I have!
Happy Valentine’s Day!
