This years Father’s Day card became a jumble of things that my dad likes!
It started with the root beer bottle. I used some thin metal that had a patina and cut out the bottle shape. I printed out the vintage label on Lazertran, a waterslide decal material that is nice and thin and molds onto the metal nicely.
After the decal was sealed in I shaded the label with Distress Ink. The next thing was to get the background together. I had the vintage ad paper, the train photo, and I printed out some bubbles on velum to get some nice layers going.
Next I wanted to put some tags on the the card. I had some old metal stamps that aren’t so great and I never use so I decided to upgrade them! I bought a bunch of letter stamp sets and was able to have some nice tags. I need more practice, but cards are great projects for that!
I couldn’t resist some gears to finish off the card!
Happy Father’s Day!
