[Thanksgiving is coming and here’s a card to get you in the mood! Originally posted 11/11/2019]
I got my Thanksgiving cards done nice and early this year so here they are!

I am still relatively new to using my die cutting machine and I discovered over the summer that one of the fun materials it can cut is felt! Fall leaves and felt seemed to be the perfect combination so I had to try it. There were a few fails, you need to have felt that has wool in it, but I got them to work and I cut out so many leaves and pumpkins and some acorns. So much fun, even if some shapes were a bit too delicate to be cut from felt.

I also used the die cutting machine to emboss some paper in a burlap-y way and rubbed some ink on it to bring out the texture. The leaves were a bit lost on the card so I gave them a branch to live on. I used my OTHER cutting machine, my Silhouette, and cut out the branches on dark brown card stock. I could not resist a little glitter spray on those.

I stamped a sentiment and heat embossed it with copper powder and used some foam tape to give some more dimension.

Each card ended up being unique!
Happy Thanksgiving!
