Here is a previous year’s Valentine’s Day card, I hope it inspires you, I know I could use some inspiration too! [Originally posted 2/16/19]
Valentine’s Day is a classic card making holiday for me. The first cards I remember making were Valentine’s using stickers and doilies and anything else my mother would put out to craft with. Too bad this holiday always sneaks up on me! I had to get some Valentine’s together quickly so I got out my die cut machine and went to work.

I had purchased some heart dies and already had the idea of layering up hearts so I at least was not starting from scratch. And after digging through my box of dies I also found these tag dies that were perfect for stamping “Love” on. I just had to pick some papers for the hearts and started cutting away!

I had picked up the floral card stock and it was a great way to make the card bases fast and pretty. I ran all the hearts through my sticker maker and arranged them on the cards.
The “Love” tag was stuck on with foam dots to make it stand out more. I do love layers! The decorative heart paper on the inside was a print out from some paper designs that I have, I had some other floral papers but it was just too many flowers! The inside message was a stamp and I used glitter embossing power to make it sparkle.

The fun thing about these cards was that each one was a bit different with the paper choices so each one felt special!
