I finally caved and got a cutting machine. I was familiar with the Cricut cutters for many years but found them to be too limiting. One summer I did a bunch of research and decided to get the Silhouette Portrait. I have been very happy with it and began making cards with it right away! This was a Halloween pop-up card that I made with one of my favorite vintage images.

This card was designed around this super cute image and it was a great project to try out my new machine. I used the print and cut feature to cut the girl out, and it worked great!
I also got to try some of the Silhouette brand double sided adhesive, which was a bit tricky but I was able to cut the frame element out and the glitter stuck super well.

The finished card!
