When I got my Silhouette Portrait, one of the cards I really wanted to make was a card that looked like the TARDIS from Doctor Who. First I had to find the right colored blue paper and I found this cardstock that had a nice texture to it. Then I designed the entire card using the software that came with the Silhouette: and I had a TARDIS card!
I printed out the signage (this is the TARDIS from the David Tennant years.) and gave it a bit of age. I added some highlights and shadows with colored pencils. The windows are made of velum and I used a marker to add the mullions.
The linear texture of the paper gave the card a wood feel!
The finished TARDIS! It made a great birthday card for my sister!
