This book was the result of a trade. My friend made me a finishing press and I made him a book! He is really into D&D so I tried to theme it to his character, but a ranger isn’t as much fun as an elf or an ogre (I told him even a gnome gave me more to work with!) But I made do. I was able to use some stuff left over from the Harry Potter books, like the decal I used on the spine.
I had picked up this neat upholstery fabric for the covers and used some of the leftover imitation leather for the spine and painted it so that it looked like dragon skin.
Here is the book in my new finishing press!
It was my first blank book so it was nice to concentrate on the construction of the book and not the content.
