This year’s Valentine’s Day cards were started with two things; some awesome heart paper and felt! So I got some felt and my heart dies and started cutting!

Like my felt leaves card I used a wool/rayon blend felt and cut out a lot of hearts. I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with them all, but I knew I wanted a lot of them.

I liked the bold graphic look of the felt hearts which complemented the handmade heart paper. I love the aqua blue with the red and pink hearts! The main heart needed a something bit more, so I cut out the scalloped edge heart out of silver velum on my Silhouette cutting machine. I liked how it gave the heart a doily look.

I printed out the “Be Mine” sentiment and finally used these label holders that I have had for so many years!
For the inside of the cards I wasn’t sure what to do until I remembered this pad of Valentine paper so each card had a different paper. I also used my Silhouette machine to “write” the sentiment on the inside.

I used up some of the extra hearts I cut out on the inside of the cards as well as some heart brads. There’s nothing like Valentine’s Day for using an excessive amount of hearts!

I hope everyone who got one of these cards were as happy with them as I was!
Happy Valentine’s Day!
