For my friend’s birthday I wanted to make a nice but relatively simple card. She likes bikes so a bicycle card!
I started with some my usual suspects, a piece of patina-ed metal (still on a metal kick!) a Lazertran decal of a bicycle, some printed paper and a kraft paper card base.
After gathering all the parts I felt that the card needed a little more bling. So I got out my new toy, the Foil Quill for my Silhouette cutting machine! I hadn’t had a chance to use it for a project so I was excited. I used a vector flower image and foiled it on the umbrella paper. I think it turned out nice and didn’t compete too much with the paper.
I also couldn’t resist adding some gears.
I kept the inside a little more plain and used one of my favorite birthday stamps with a typewriter font. Super simple!
