It’s that time of year and I needed to make a confirmation card! I wanted to emphasize the spring and I found this lovely image of cherry blossoms.
I started with the image and I love picking out parts and layering them so I used my Silhouette to cut out some of the blossoms and buds. I also used the cutter to cut out the layered cross.

I struggled with a background paper for this card, it was a 5″x7″ card so lots of real estate, and settled on this musical score. The paper was a bit plain so I couldn’t help running the paper through my embossing machine with a graphic floral folder. I rubbed on some ink to bring out the texture.

I’ve been on a Victorian font kick lately and I used one again for the inside of the card. The outside of the card was rather pink so I used some blue washi paper on the inside to balance it out.

The finished card! I added gold edges and plastic “dew drops” for the finishing touches.
