Activity Clock Card

So the people in my life that are into Harry Potter just keeps growing. My friend’s child is at that tender age where he is starting to read the books so I now can make more Harry Potter themed cards!

activity2I decided to make an activity clock, based loosely on Mrs. Weasley’s clock that tells her where all her family is. Since it was just for one person, I did activity’s and less of locations.

I had thought to use a clock pattern that I had for my Silhouette cutter, but it wasn’t super useful since I didn’t need the numbers. I did use the circles and the one hand from it though, just the hour hand, the minute hand was too long!

I distressed some paper with ink and glitter sprays for the front paper and covered it with stars and moons that I cut out with my Evolution Advanced die cutter. The inside paper was embossed (semi-successfully) with the same machine. It did rip a little, but most of it was covered by another piece of paper. I also distressed the map paper with a bit of ink to bring out the embossing.

Then the fun part which was coming up with all the activities!  I ended up cutting the hand out three times and I glued them all together to make it sturdier which was good, my friend said he was very good at setting the clock to his activities! Success!
