My mother loves birdcages. So for Mother’s Day I made her a birdcage card.
The birdcage is a wooden cut out that I gave a little bit of a metallic sheen with some metallic pigment in varnish. I stamped the flowers on vellum, cut them out, and added a drop of rose gold crystal drops for the centers. The frame was also on vellum and I used gold foil for the accents.
It’s hard to see in the pictures, but the layers of vellum turned out really nice and made a very ethereal card.
